Logo Design

It’s all about you. Your business, your style and your market. There is always something unique about a business and it is that thing that you are passionate about that I strive to bring out in your mark. A symbol or a graphic can be part of the design or a distinctive typeface. Larger brands may have a group of logos for different uses. Your logo will represent your brand in many ways whether it is embroidered on a golf shirt or part of a wrap on your car these uses are considered when designing.

The more info the better when beginning a logo project. Your favorite color or your idea scribbled in your notes, even a feeling that you are trying to convey all great clues to get the design process rolling. That is where the collaboration starts. Some clients want to know “why do I need three logo designs?” While each brief is different, generally I suggest that three varied designs are the way to go. Out of the three, one is the beginning of your new look, you may want to tweak it a bit at this stage to make it just right.

Production of the logo has to to do with finalizing your logo and preparing deliverables. You can expect a logo suite – your original (vector) logo along with most used formats of your logo such as JPEGs and PNGs. Your logo may be used in a wide variety of ways from small business card to Times Square size graphic application. Knowing which format for which vendor are important. I am here to help, for example; your web designer will ask for a png, a sign company a vector.

Hope this short rundown of the logo process helps. And always, if you have questions or are interested in an estimate give me a call. Let’s get started.
